I promise myself not to do another post until somebody will reply to this post, but looks like you are using language that the general public cannot understand. Minamalas yata ako. I request the admin to delete the reply DNdeGuia. This will ruin the purpose of my post.

Re: Line intercepted by coordinate axes

I want to be fair with the two of you but if I am in the place of DNdeGuia, I will be shock with your response. Becoming rude is I think a proper term to describe your response but maybe you don't mean it, I'm not sure.

I look at your profile page, your municipality is Lapaz and Province is Leyte, place where people can fully understand the language used by DNdeGuia, but you're from New Dheli, I think that's why.

Most people here are in one way or another connected with the administrator. But the community is growing, I suggest the admin will create a clear guidelines for this community.

I mean nothing offensive, I hope I don't hurt any feelings.

Suggestion:
If you don't understand what others are saying, you can use the polite phrase..."English translation please"...or "Tagalog please". Innocent These phrases are short but respectful. I hope it helps.

Re: Line intercepted by coordinate axes

i mean nothing offensive and don't mean to be rude to anyone. i just expect a good response to my post but after how many days i receive no answer. when i came back i found an answer with some languages that are alien to me. honestly, although i understand some words, i really don't understand what you mean.

what i mean for 'ruin' is not an attack or belittle you. i simply mean that if the future reader, 2 or three years or so from now, will find this post via search, he/she is supposed to be benefited by answers that are direct; the response is not another question in language that is not internationally understandable.

i don't like a quick response but without quality. i prefer for response that are informative and direct to the point. i hope i am clear now. although i feel i don't owe any apology, i will still apologize; this is what pinoy is. i hope you will accept my not so sincere apology.

i was born in lapaz and grow in manila but no permanent settlement due to the nature of my father's business. this makes makes me chose lapaz as my hometown but i never get the chance of learning the language of my mother. we all speak tagalog, my father which is pure indian is fluent on it.

Re: Line intercepted by coordinate axes

Hi guys, I saw this thread days ago and I think some of you are waiting for my reply. I want to be fair to all, and I chose my words carefully for this post. Most community sites nowadays, specially forums, are loaded with crap info. Browsing through their pages will bombard you with nonsense information and useless posts, a waste of time for someone doing real research. My vision for this site is to make it useful to anyone (members and non members) for their math needs. Unfortunately, this site is accumulating posts that are unrelated to mathematics, this will make this site full of trash and will probably turn into junk. This is the reason why I trap robots from indexing our site.

Below is the list of solutions that might solve this problem.

  • Create some rules for this community and should be strictly enforce. One of which is a mandate to use English or Tagalog language for all our conversations.
  • Add moderators to every category so that inappropriate post can be deleted promptly.
  • Send automated notification to those who violates the rules for some warning and to inform them of our the existing policies.

By the way, I will delete all comments above mine and including this comment of mine in the future. For the mean time, I will make this thread available with those comments for others to read.

I don't agree. We an take this as an example for futue members to see how chaotic it is to use non-english or non-tagalog languages.
