Two ADFCians just took the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam

The first batch of graduates of Civil Engineering students of ADFC just took the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professionals Regulations Commission this Saturday and Sunday (November 23 and 24, 2008). Jowell Chris T. Tolibas and Genmar A. Bermudez are among the thousands of examinees. The examination was held in Manila Cebu, Bagiou, Davao, Tacloban and Cagayan De Oro.

I talked to them last Saturday, just after they go out from the examination room, asking them how they did it. Jowell is calm and I can saw his confidence but he told me he got less than 21 sure answers. The passing score is 21, that is 70% of the total items which is 30. Genmar on the other hand reported that he made an erasures of 6 items for he mistakenly put them into different number. He is a little nervous of that but I told him to calm down and focus his mind to the next subject, for he cannot revert what happened.

After they took the last subject (that was Sunday afternoon), I got a chance to talk to them again. Both are now waiting for the result, they cannot tell if they pass of they fail but I saw their hope as they perform well in the examinations. God bless to both of you. I hope we can attached the "Engr." prefix to your names. The result of the examination may be release on Wednesday. I hope and pray that I can see your two names in the newspaper as you are the first batch of CE graduate in our school.

I don't have a good picture of the two. If anybody here has a picture of Jowell and Genmar, please let me use it for this post. Thank you.
